Race Report by Brian Tasaka, Mind Over Mountain Adventure Racing

The final Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race was held this past weekend at Vancouver Island’s Comox Valley. It will be remembered for the heavy rain, high winds, a threepeat, togas, and heaps of prizing.

Congratulations to Team Helly Hansen / MOMAR for capturing their third overall title and completing the ‘threepeat’. Also to Jason Sanquist for winning the Schick Xtreme3 trip to Costa Rica and to Sarah Seads for winning the custom Berg Bike frame. And to Normon Thibault for completing his 20th MOMAR.

The results are now up and Tony Austin has posted his photo gallery up on his site. I have also written up a post race report complete with some of Tony’s best photos.

Thanks to everyone who came out and was part of the MOMAR experience. We had a great time putting it all together and we will remember this weekend for a long time!
