Run the North Shore has been selected to host the 2008 Canadian Trail and Mountain Running Championships. The inaugural Peak Challenge, a 12km Trail Ascent, to be run either solo or via 2-Person Relay will be held on July 19th, 2008. Participants start at the Parkgate Community Center and held up the Seymour trail system to the Peak of Mount Seymour.

Eric Langhjelm is the the Race Director and has designed a course that can only be described as spectacularly challenging and will undoubtedly satisfy the trail runner in all of us.
