Camping fees in B.C. are going up

Camping fees across British Columbia are going up. As of April 1, fees in B.C. Parks will increase by $1 per night for rustic and basic sites, and by $2 per night for moderate and developed sites. Backcountry and parking fees will not change. On Friday, the government said the increase is the first since 2003, and is being done to keep pace with inflation. In a news release, the government added that fees help pay for maintenance and repairs throughout the parks.
