2008 Vancouver BG Triathlon World Championships
June 5th to 8th, 2008

COMPETITION CATEGORIES:

Junior Triathlon: A sprint triathlon will be held for to men and women athletes aged 16 and over (age as of Dec 31,2008) and per age group. Sprint distance race (750m, 20km, 5km). The junior competition will be “draft legal”.

Elite: Part of the 2008 BG Triathlon World Championships Series - the best 75 men and 75 women will compete in the event. Entry is through their National Federation only.

Age Group Sprint Distance: [more information soon]

Age Group Olympic Distance: Open to men and women athletes aged 18 and over (age as of Dec 31, 2008) who will complete the Olympic distance race (1500m, 40km, 10km). Five year age group categories will be in affect for the age group event, with the ITU categories for AWAD competitors.
