Jeff Hunt, a teacher and runner from Victoria, ran the Juan de Fuca Trail in its entirety yesterday in just under eight hours. For those not familiar with this trail it runs along the west coast of Vancouver Island beginning just outside of Sooke and continuing northwards to Port Renfew. The rugged trail is 47 kilometres long and takes the average backpacker 3-4 days to complete. He’s put together a great photo essay of his adventure onto his blog, The Adventure Runs of Jeff Hunt.
