On June 1, 2008 the residents of Abbotsford will be challenged to participate in the inaugural Run for Water.

The ½ Marathon and 10 km distances promise to be high calibre races with chip timing and well-controlled courses featuring some of Abbotsford’s most scenic vistas.

The 5 km Fun Run is a family-oriented event that will allow people of all ages and abilities to participate.

Race Start Times:

Half Marathon - 8:00 am
10K Run - 8:30 am
5K Fun Run - 9:00 am

Race Entry/package  Includes:

• Entry to the selected Half Marathon, 10k, or 5k event, including hydration stations, medical support and security
• Technical shirt for Half and 10k distances
• Official Race T-shirt for 5k distance
• Chip timing, 1/2 marathon and 10k distances
• Official finisher medals for all runners
• After race snacks and beverages
• Post-race awards ceremony
• Automatic entry into door prizes which will be awarded after the conclusion of the races (must be present to win)
