Mountain Bikers of all levels are invited to Whistler for the official opening of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park on May 17, 2008. The Whistler Mountain Bike Park boasts over 12000 m of vertical and over 200 kilometers of lift serviced, gravity fed, adrenaline - fueled descending trails.

There is something for every skill level of rider, including three skill centres designed for different ability levels. Riders are encouraged to visit the Air Dome which is an 8400 square foot covered mountain bike training facility located in Lot 8 on Blackcomb Mountain. The training facility contains a huge foam pit, ramps, a quarter pipe and a half pipe.
