2009 Vancouver Sun Run Results and Athlete Write-ups

- NEW! Sandra Yaworshi - Vancouver Sun Run - Once again, I made the trek to Vancouver to take in the Sun Run. This is my favourite race. I never ran this race until I was over 40. I would have loved to have known how fast I could have run this course in my prime years!
- Martina’s Weblog – “Stage Fright” - Well, it was the perfect day to have a great race …. unfortunately, I think I had a case of ’stage fright’ because I don’t think I raced (performed) the way I should have!
- Running Tough – Vancouver Sun Run - I was on the fence about doing this race simply because it looked like it would be a bit of a pain to spend the better part of the weekend over in Vancouver just for a 10k race.
- 3:10 to Boston – Sun Run Update - OK, so right off the bat: no front line pic. I’m about 7 rows back and you can see me in the aerial start shot but not the ground level one.
- Mark Bomba … – Feeling flat…running decent…. - I haven’t posted since my Sun Run due to leaving my computer at school and then simply not getting around to it….now the report.
- Running the Red Road – ….Sun Run – Race Day! Despite the lacklustre week or so I was excited to lace up the T5s and hit the pavement for a quick 10k. I was prepared for disaster since my breathing had been so poor the previous few days but hoped the low pressure system and morning would help…
- Dirge Rhetoric – Vancouver Sun Run Results – I will cut to the chase. Perhaps not! See if I was Steve McQueen, this would entail a long, drawn-out car scene where 1970s vehicles are driven aggressively across deserts or in the deserted streets of big cities…
- Betty’s Blog – Vancouver Sun Run 2009 – A perfect condition this morning for the many 55,000 plus participants at the 10K Sun Run. Even though it wasn’t sunny, the cloudy weather gave me the push to get my Personal Best time for the 10K. All the training paid off. Thank you!!!
