Test of Metal Registration Open for Local Riders Dec 1

This is a reminder that registration for the 2010 Test of Metals opens for locals only on December 1st at 6pm at www.testofmetal.com.
A local is defined as anyone who lives between Furry Creek and Darcy, BC. Registration will remain open until 6 p.m. December 5th or until all 200 local spots are filled.

NSMBA AGM set for Dec 10th

The North Shore Mountain Bike Association (NSMBA) is holding its annual General Meeting on Thursday, December 10th. They are inviting anyone to attend who has an interest in mountain biking and/or trails on the North Shore. The meeting begins at 7pm and will be held at Jaycee House, 1251 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver.

Gunner Shaw XC This Weekend in Victoria

Victoria’s famous Gunner Shaw XC race finally happens this weekend @ 1pm on Saturday, November 28th. The race covers 10k along Thetis Lake’s trail system and although the infamous wading puddle is now gone the course still offers it’s share of challenges including a finish along (i.e within) the waters of the lake.

Provincial Cyclocross Championships this Weekend in North Vancouver

The 2009 cyclocross season offically comes to an end this weekend in North Vancouver at the BC Cyclocross Championships.
The event takes place at Mahon Park on Sunday, November 29th with the first race beginning at 10am.

Studio YVR – Last Saturday I raced in the Phantom Trail Run which is a 24 km x-country race located in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve.  I loved this race.  It was cheap, fast, challenging and fun!
