Three BC ultra runners finished today 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the prestigious Mountain Masochist Trail Run in Montebello, Virginia. The event covers 50+ miles overall of challenging terrain with over 9000 feet of elevation gain.

On the men’s side Gary Robbins, despite posting a time which is within the top ten fasted times EVER in the race’s 27 year history, finished third overall. 1st place men’s winner Geoff Roes broke the course record by 21 minutes.

On the women’s side two BC women annihilated their competition with Tamsin Ansey finished first overall and Nicola Gilldersleeve finishing a close second.
