XTERRA Triathlon World Champion (3 times) Melanie McQuaid, a native of Victoria, BC, is inviting 10 lucky amateur racers to her professional team – Mel’s Rad Racing Team. The opportunity will allow amateur racers (i.e. real people with families and jobs) to compete on a professional team with top notch coaching and support. Focus for the team will be on  XTERRA and 70.3 events.

Melanie McQuaid is the first person to have won the XTERRA Triathlon World Championships three times. In addition this year along Melanie was named Triathlete Magazine’s Offroad Triathlete of the Year, Triathlon Canada’s Female Offroad Triathlete of the Year and won Offroad Triathlete of the Year.
