New Year’s Resolutions Challenge

Have you made any New Years Resolutions yet? Need some help keeping them?

Here’s the deal. Post your 2010, sport and health related goals in the comments section of this post. In one years time we will them re-post your resolutions along with an update on how successful or unsuccessful you were at achieving them.

    Here are my 2010 goals:

    - Participate in a multi-sport event (MOMAR, Suburban Rush, etc.)
    - Ride North Vancouver’s Severed Dick Trail and only have to get off my bike 3 times.
    - Participate in an enduro XC mountain bike event (6hrs+)
    - Sub-3 hour Frosty 25K
    - Compete in a relay event with my wife and finish still liking each other
    - Eat Cheezies no more than once per week
    - Run or bike to work as much as possible

    To continue with personal training discontinued in early December due to work commitmenets at least 2 – 3 times a week
    Complete times colonist 10k faster than any previous times (shouldn’t be too difficult considering what the past times were)
    At least three times a week on the trails – Thetis and Elk Lake – running – to enable myself to be able to complete my previous goal
    More time with friends
    Travel with my husband for some down time and time together away from the business

    - Toss out my flat pedals, and learn to XC ride with clip-ins
    - Compete in my first 25k trail run race
    - Bring yoga back into my life
    - Compete in my first ever multi-sport event
    - Nap more often

    These have been swirling around in my head for a while now but this is the first time I’ve seen them typed out. I guess that makes them real now!

    - Top 3 finish for Dirty Duo relay team.
    - Sub 5 hour Chuckanut 50k
    - Sub 11 hour Miwok 100k
    - Complete Transrockies Run
    - Top 3 finish in coed couple category for either Momar

    Tall order.. I best to get on it!

    I want everyone out in webworld to know that I may not be fast but I’m not afraid to trip my competitors!!!!
    My goals for this year are to work hard and not get too unfit.
    Goals:
    -not to listen to my excuses.
    -to do 4 marathons.
    -to train for at least one of the marathons.
    -to swim 2x per month so that I won’t forget how
    -to shrink one belt notch
