Kelowna’s Melanie Bos Fastest Canadian Woman at Ultra Runners World Championships

Kelowna’s Melanie Bos can now officially claim to be Canada’s fastest woman ultra runner after finishing eighth overall and first Canadian at the International Association of Ultra Runners World Championships earlier this month in Ireland.

Bos was one of eight members of Team Canada competing in the 70 kilometres race which ran through muddy conditions and featured many steep climbs.

Bos will now focus on her next challenge which will be the World 100k Championships in Holland on September 10th.
