Results and write-ups from last weekend’s MOMAR

Posted on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 | 0 Comments | Category: News and Happenings, Results, Write-ups

Click here for final results from the Mind Over Mountain Adventure race last weekend in Squamish. From all reports it was one of the toughest MOMAR’s to date. Following are write-ups from people who participated in the event:

  • Team Helly Hansen Vancouver Island - Kristenn’s race report; Squamish MOMAR May 10, 2008 - What a race! Many racers, including our fearless Team HHVI leader Justin Mark, are saying it was the toughest MOMAR yet! With Jeff and I having just one MOMAR under our belts we can only agree that it was tough, real tough!
  • What’s up with ELM? - MOMAR Squamish Race Report - Wow. What a race! I just returned home from a weekend in Squamish and my first Adventure Race of the season-MOMAR #1. This one may go down as the most challenging MOMAR to date-with epic elevation gain (over and over) and tonnes of self navigation-on and off the bike. (Also check out Sarah’s follow-up report on the race - Hindsight )
  • Gary Robbins - Squamish MOMAR Race Report - So after getting back from Miwok and feeling completely crippled for three full days I was wondering if I’d be able to race the Squamish MOMAR Adventure Race at all…

Additional write-ups will be added to this list as they become available.
