Support regions of the province include the South Coast, North Shore, North Columbia, South Columbia, Kootenay Boundary, South Rockies and Northwest.

The developers soon hope to add real-time alerts that will be sent automatically to your device.

The application is free. To download visit the iTunes App Store.

Female runners know they are different than men.
Physiology aside, women know their pursuit of fitness will never take the same route as men. Literally.
The killing of a Vancouver woman in the wooded Pacific Spirit Park near UBC hasn’t strayed far from the top headlines.
Not only was the death of Wendy Ladner-Beaudry apparently random. She was also the sister of a well-known former city counciillor.
What gave the story even more resonance in this part of the world where we love to exercise outdoors is that Wendy was a runner – like tens of thousands in Vancouver and Victoria.
Any woman who runs has heard the safety advice:
Don’t run alone, especially at night.
Be alert when you run.
Vary your route.
Trust your intution if anything seems suspicious.
