Early Hell Run 51:22

Wakey, wakey! 6:25 am rising time for me this morning. Good thing Patty was meeting me at Cedar Hell. The first 5 minutes of running were brutal. My legs felt like lead but slowly they woke up…and I mean slowly. I think it took close to 30 minutes into the run! Patty and I yakked about this and that. I really envy his up-coming big traveling adventure. It sounds like something right up my alley. I must try and put him in touch with Em when he gets to Melbourne so she can show him all the best running trails they have there. After three loops, we did some Poser drills and did 2 remarkably stiff strides and 3 more that felt good. We got to chat with Gwyn who was doing an early morning WO with a friend. What a nice, nice person she is and what an athlete!
I went to work and made sure there were no loose ends before heading off to the ferry to Vancouver. It was a shaky start to the weekend as we missed the 1pm and had TWO waits to sit through. Good thing I brought Paula with me and was able to kill some time reading! Dinner with my family was brilliant! My nieces are adorable I have to say and my brothers never change. I was razzed and teased and was even given a couple of cuffs to the back of my head…I reciprocated of course!
